The Shed challenges listeners with an ever-changing list of performers that the minds behind Smitty’s have curated to entertain and enlighten. You may think that going to see a classical accordionist or Indian Sarod player is out of your comfort zone, but trust that the Smitty’s team won’t lead you astray. The Shed is always forward thinking, but most importantly, always good.
Jordan Hunt is a composer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist.
Classically trained, and drawing on his experiences in art-pop orchestra The Irrepressibles, Canadian band The Hidden Cameras, and as musical companion to Olivia Chaney, he creates vivid, direct, emotive music that channels Nina Simone, James Blake and Antony Hegarty, weaving soaring vocals through his own melodic brand of ‘sad-boy pop'.
"Mesmerising... spellbinding melodic pop sound" (AnOther Man)
"Jordan Hunt, who is basically a modern equivalent to Mozart - a genius" (i-D)
